Currently due to our Covid guidelines we are performing tattoos by appointment only. We are not currently accepting walk ins. To book a tattoo appointment please send us an online consultation form via this link, and we will get back to you regarding your tattoo idea as soon as possible.
A deposit is required to reserve your tattoo appointment and allows the artist to proceed with the design. If you fail to arrive for your scheduled appointment or if you don't give us adequate notice of cancellation, your deposit is forfeited in whole or in part, for the work that was done in preparation for your tattoo.

It's sometimes difficult to email quotes, and have consults through email etc. as the tattoo artists don't have direct access to replying to emails. We’ll try our best to make this work for you. If further consultation is needed we’ll probably have one of our artists contact you by phone. The artist will be able to get your full ideas and give more accurate cost and time quote. This way you'll get the best service possible and get the perfect tattoo you're looking for.
Tattoos are priced during your consultation with the artist. They will be able to give you a rough quote once they discuss your ideas with you.
The age for getting tattooed is 18 with proper ID. Clients that are 16 or 17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent with proper identification. ID accepted is a Driver's License, Passport, Health Card with photo, BYID card, Birth Certificate with Student Card. We require all clients to produce proper identification upon request to get a tattoo at Thrive Studios.
To achieve proper sterilization it takes multiple steps. Just owning an autoclave (sterilizer) doesn't mean its functioning properly or even achieving sterilization. We test our autoclave weekly and the results are available to view at anytime. Our studio uses fully-disposable, single use supplies for each appointment.
Due to current Covid guidelines, we are not allowing additional guests to your tattoo appointment. Please come alone. If you are a minor, your parent or guardian will have to come in to sign for you the day of the appointment, but will not be able to stay for the duration of the appointment.
We will not tattoo you if you are pregnant. We also recommend that you wait until you are finished nursing until you get tattooed.
To reschedule a tattoo we appreciate two business days. Cancellations require two weeks' notice to receive a full refund of the deposit back. Failure to change or cancel an appointment in the required time will result in loss of deposit for the studio and artist’s loss of time invested for your appointment.
To RESCHEDULE a tattoo appointment please call two business days before your scheduled appointment. Failure to call prior to two businesses days will result in forfeiting some, or all of your tattoo deposit.
To CANCEL a tattoo please call two weeks before your scheduled appointment. Failure to call prior to two weeks notice will result in forfeiting your deposit.
*Effective October 1, 2020: Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are transferable to another client, can be used towards any piercing or jewellery, or transferred onto a gift card
**Any deposits purchased before October 1, 2020 will remain subject to to previous deposit policy.
Tips are greatly appreciated but not expected.
